Ladies and Gentlemen,
Fabulous race in the place you’d least expected, it was a thriller from beginning to end. Alonso overcame 10 grid positions to score his second win of the year, the only repeat winner so far. SCH went from 12th to reach his first podium since his comeback. You’d think this is the craziest F1 season on record or the best ever. Or both. And we still have 12 races to go!
Fredrik emerged victorious from officially the worst ever CFA race. We, the ultimate experts, averaged 2.5 race points in Valencia. Fredrik, with 5 points is now our 7th different GP winner, was the only one to brilliantly predict RAI in second place. Sebastian and Manbos ended up 1 point behind thanks to their choice of ROS in 6th. Those 3 were the only ones in the entire group to score 3-pointers. In fact, no one had more than 3 correct drivers in the top six. It was so bad that 11 members had 2 race points, and in another futility record 5 colleagues only scored single points! Do we need any more proof that this is the most unpredictable season ever?
Results:
http://f1.manbos.com/userbets.asp?t=2012&gpn=Europa&nevent=raceThere was little change in the point standings, evidently. Uwe’s lead is now 6 points over Maria and 7 to Rocco (60-54-53). Manbos and Fredrik went up one position (50-49). After that there are 11 names within 7 points (!). At the bottom of the list Erik has generously given rookie IanM a break to take his last place; the basement is just as crowded with Ricky keeping them close company (38-37).

http://f1.manbos.com/rankingyear.asp?t=2012I hope you have the time to share with us the pictures and video from the CFA visit to the Montreal GP in both the “Event” section from the website or check CFA facebook page.
Inside Santi’s recount of our trip http://f1.manbos.com/events.asp (it’s got a google translator, no excuses) you’ll find Manbos’s video of the event, edited like a pro and including the fantastic scream of the F1 engines. Both features not to be missed!
Next race is the British GP in the great Silverstone Circuit in 2 weeks time, 6-8 July.
Not soon enough!
Cheers
Cato
