Half the FP1 session was under heavy showers and the second half never got to be dry to do any serious testing. FP2 was delayed until lighting in the area made it unsafe for the medical helicopter to fly and decision was made to cancel the session altogether. The only reference we have now are the lap times from the little running that was done in FP1. ROS didn’t have to push too hard to impose the Mercedes superior package lapping 1.2 seconds faster than Red Bull cars with KVY ahead of RIC.
