Ladies and Gentlemen,
A Mercedes one-two, most likely the first of many this year. The W06 is from another galaxy, even without Nico putting pressure on Lewis and running a moderate pace to save engines they lapped every car up to 4th place, not that there were many cars at the end of the race anyways. Ferrari has the speed to challenge Williams in the ‘best of the rest’ category, no doubt is the most improved package from last season, same for Sauber that impressed with rookie Nasr with a solid drive to 5th place. Red Bull is having another bad start to the season and they only blame Renault for their poor performance. I can’t remember when was the last time we saw so many bad pitstops, and with only 11 runners at the end of the race this definitely wasn’t a promising start to the F1 season.

Lotus is back in the top 10 after a year's absence.

Reliability was an issue for several teams as is expected this early in the season with this overly complicated machinery.
