2014 Austrian GP by Cato Batista, 21/06/2014 22:04:36 Ladies and Gentlemen, Now this is a shocker: Williams has taken the front row of the grid. MAS is on pole -his last one was 6 years ago- ahead teammate BOT by 87 thousands. They beat Mercedes by own merit and a little help from HAM’s mistakes. ALO is 4th but he is pretty downbeat about his possibilities for the race -”Several cars behind us are a lot faster...and have extra sets of (option) tyres”...- RIC is 5th but the other Red Bull didn’t even made it to Q3, fifth time the newcomer has beaten the world champ this season. The only McLaren in top 10 is MAG (6th), next is rookie sensation KVY ahead of former world champions RAI & HAM. HUL didn’t go out to to save tyres settling for 10th. HAM ended Q3 without setting a time as his best lap (good for 5th) was dismissed for running wide beyond track limits.
