Ladies and Gentlemen,


One of the best GPs we’d ever seen, it was a screamer. Started and ended with a bang; in the last 20 laps the tension kept growing, there was a strong sense that something espectacular was going to happen, and it did. RIC’s victory was enthusiastically celebrated by the capacity crowd. A star was born, this Australian belongs among the big boys. And we learned something else: the Mercedes armour is not invulnerable.

Ladies and Gentlemen,


It went down to the last moments of qualifying. ROS had a good, clean lap, HAM did two small mistakes in sector 1. Still both Mercedes were at least half a second faster than VET in the Red Bull and the very fast Williams of BOT & MAS. The rest of the top 10 were the second Red Bull, both Ferraris, 1 McLaren and 1 Toro Rosso,
